Life of Christ: Judean Ministry Diagram
This diagram is based on the Gospel accounts. It
is intended as a memory guide. We must remember that the exact sequence and
timing of all of Christ's movements cannot be completely established from
available sources. Also the exact location of many events is uncertain.
1. Passover AD 28
First cleansing of the Temple. Jn. 2. Nicodemus. Jn. 3.2. Ministry in Judea.
3. John the Baptist baptising. "He must increase but I must decrease."
4. Jesus heads for Galilee because of tension between His disciples and John's. The Samaritan woman. Jn. 4.
5. The nobleman's son.
6. John imprisoned. Mt. 14. Lk. 3. Memo: A positive nobleman then a negative "nobleman". (Actual location uncertain).
7. Passover AD 2
9 Bethesda. Rejection by the Sanhedrin. Close of Judean ministry. Jn. 5.
